If you wish to have your artwork exhibited at the outstanding creative event in London but don’t know where to start this is one of the possibilities worthy of attention.
Zealous X is coming back to London in larger and more versatile version then the one which had happened in 2013 at the Bargehouse gallery in Oxo Tower Wharf. The ten days festival will take a place at Rich Mix, Shoreditch from the 7th to the 17th of January 2016 and will showcase works coming from seven different disciplines: visual arts, photography, design, film, music, interactive and performance.
The aim of the Zealous as an organisation is to connect creative talents from various disciplines with organisations looking to provide valuable opportunities and exhibit their works.
What shall one expect from the show itself then?
The exhibition will involve 105 artists displaying taking over most of the spacious building. Zealous X intends to give a diverse variety of UK artists the chance to exhibit, promote and sell their work. Visitors will be invited to enjoy industry discussions alongside the exhibitions, workshops, talks, gigs, performances, films and gaming.
The main objective of the organizers is to create a regular, quality event which would bring artists from various disciplines and connect them with the professional opportunities. The project manager of Zealous reveals their aspiration is to become as Digital Shoreditch but for the creatives. Despite London being one of the busiest art hubs in the world, with many exhibitions, art fairs and festivals every year, there is still a need for such initiatives discovering new talents and supporting artists in their career.
The panel of judges is still to be confirmed but we expect to see some interesting names considering the previous one compromising Nirvana snapper Steve Double, stand-up Andi Osho, pupeteer Rob Tygner and artist Richard Snowden.
The free submissions are still open until the 30th of September. If you wish to submit your works you can do it here http://x.zealous.co/
