We would like to thank everyone who came for the networking meeting on Monday. It was great to see you all!
We had a great discussion about planed exhibition. The LoVArts team informed about the all organisation issues. At this point the most important topic is a venue. We are in contact with few potential spaces and hopefully soon we will have some final responses from them. LoVArts also meet with different curators who might get involved in the show. We plan our exhibition to be on the highest level and those people would help us with the selection of works, so we can make sure the displayed works will be stunning.
The media team has been working on the building relations with media. We have quite a long list of contacts to newspapers and magazines, however, we still need some more names as well as some contacts to bloggers who would like to collaborate with us.
During the meeting we decided that every artist whose work will be selected for the exhibition has to pay £40 refundable deposit. We also discussed that half of the deposit will be located for the marketing purposes (flyers, posters etc…). At the moment we all need to brainstorm about theme/topic of the exhibition. We want to present there all kinds of visual arts to show the richness of that field. At the same time we need to build up an interesting story which will bring attention of invited guests and journalists. If you have any ideas, please share them with us; we are happy to hear your voice.
