February Networking Meeting

We would like to thank everyone who came yesterday for the networking meeting. It was great to see you all!

We managed to discuss quite a few important topics. First of all we presented the current structure of the LoVArt’s team. We luckily found a Project Manager who will help us with organisation of the first exhibition of the collective. We built up small teams which are responsible for searching venues, curators and media relations. We still, however, need more people on board. We need more volunteers in each team; and moreover, we need someone responsible for the drinks and someone in charge of the legal issues. Please, remember that being involved doesn’t mean that everything is on your shoulders. We are all supporting each other and divide tasks in the way that nobody is alone with their duties. The more of us, the more successful we will be.

We also talked about logo. One of our friends presented some ideas and we brainstormed about evaluation of those proposals. We consider organising some competition, so keep an eye on our blog if you have graphic skills.

The participants of yesterday meeting brought their portfolios and we are very impressed by the quality of their works. We are excited that the level of exhibited works is going to be so high.

There is still time to get involved! If you want to exhibit with us, please send us an e-mail with your sample works to info@lovarts.co.uk. We need to create the group portfolio which will help us finding the right venue. Your sample of work should be on one page A4 with the information about the size of exhibited work.

We are very ambitious and want to organise something spectacular. Can’t wait for the next meeting to see progress of the preparations!
